COVID-19 Updates

Dear Valued ES&E Customer,

ES&E hopes you, your family, and everyone at your company are staying healthy and safe. None of us know how long the disruption to our normal course of business will be, but we know you have a plant and business to run and maintain. With travel restrictions, social distancing and other safety measures in effect, we are utilizing remote support as a first line of support for our customers. Our prior communication highlighted our remote options but we know this may not address all your needs. To keep you operating as efficiently as possible we want to highlight our non-remote offerings that we still offer.

Repair facility is open
ES&E wants to let you know that Rockwell Automation Remanufacturing and Repair facilities are open, accepting new repair requests, and are ready to support you. We can help you if you need to send a failed asset (PLC, Drive, HMI, etc.) in, be it Allen-Bradley or another manufacturer’s product. We can also help you get a remanufactured Allen-Bradley unit from Rockwell Automation quickly, even in 24 hours for many parts. Additionally, if you were not already aware of it, you can sign-up on MyRockwell.com for your own remanufacturing and repair account (no cost, just a user name and password) and start using the site right away. This is where you can submit repair quote requests for both Allen-Bradley products and many other manufacturers.

Onsite Services are available
ES&E and Rockwell’s service technicians may be available for onsite services for urgent or essential business needs. As a Rockwell Automation Authorized Service Provider, ES&E offers many onsite services such as drive start-ups, programming assistance, network and cybersecurity services as well as safety audits just to name a few. If you have a critical need for onsite services, please reach out to your ES&E Account Manager to discuss how we can help.

Remote Support Options
ES&E is currently offering a new webinar series presented by our Automation Specialists to help keep you informed, productive and efficient. We have a wide variety of classes available and continue to add new ones weekly so check back often and let us know if there are particular subjects you’d like covered. Rockwell’s TechConnect remote support team can remotely coach and resolve many complex issues via phone, in a safe and timely manner, often with the help of video and other virtual support technologies.

If you have an existing TechConnect contract, Rockwell Automation is offering you a new opportunity to interact with a remote virtual support application for mobile devices called Live View powered by PTC Chalk. Click here to learn more.

If you don’t have a TechConnect contract, Rockwell is offering you access to online support for 90 days to help your operations during this difficult time. With this offer, you can access global engineering experts who can assist you from support centers as well as over 100,000 expert-written articles to help troubleshoot faster.

Collaborative Remote Assistance
With varying travel restrictions and social distancing measures in place, we understand that getting expertise where you need it be can be challenging right now.

Rockwell Automation has partnered with PTC to offer free access to FactoryTalk® InnovationSuite™ Vuforia Chalk, a collaborative remote assistance tool, through June 30th. This augmented reality software program helps employees who need to share real-time instructions and guidance without being physically on-site. Click here to learn more.

Training
With more employees working remotely and increased production demand, those remaining at your facilities may not have all the skills and support needed to keep you up and running.

Rockwell is offering fast pass access to an e-learning course of your choice at no cost. Choose between their 14 e-learning classes that cover six core automation technologies, and use this pass anytime in the next 90 days.

ES&E offers many remote training webinars including product updates, virtual hands on labs and many other informative topics.

Dear Valued ES&E Customer,

ES&E continues to remain open and will remain open during the remainder of the COVID-19 Outbreak under The Department of Homeland Security’s “Essential Business” designation. We have had countless requests from our customer base to remain open. We are grateful to support your facility however we can during this historic time.

Although each of our locations has a substantial amount of our employees working remotely, we are still 100% operational.

We continue to remain in constant contact with our manufacturers and they all remain open and operational as well.

We are taking extra precautions, as suggested by the CDC, and we will continue to strive for a high level of service.

  • Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, and Sales are continuing without disruption at this time.
  • Other Departments are fully operational as well and you can continue to contact us if you need any other information.
  • All ES&E Phone Numbers are fully functional and will be redirected to the relevant departments or employees even when working remotely.
  • We are not allowing customers inside of our facilities, but we are still able to accommodate material pickup at our locations.
  • We have gone to a no contact delivery procedure to increase safety.
