Installed Base Evaluation
Gain Insights Across Your Facilities

The best way to improve operations is to start with a thorough understanding of where you are today. An Installed Base Evaluation™ makes it easy for you to collect and analyze critical performance information within your facility and across the enterprise. When you know the status of spare parts and discontinued equipment, you can create a corporate-risk profile highlighting the highest risk for downtime at each site. Rockwell's Installed Base Evaluation provides a thorough analysis of your critical plant assets and condition, so that you can make data-driven decisions regarding their support and obsolescence management.

Modernization Service Agreement
A Phased Migration Approach That Fits Your Budget

It's a familiar challenge. You have a large installed base of Rockwell Automation legacy automation equipment, but don't necessarily have the available budget to upgrade it, or want to face the potential for extended downtime that goes with it. Modernization benefits include improved productivity, globalization and better decision-making enabled by the convergence of IT and OT as you move toward a Connected Enterprise. Rockwell Automation offers an option that allows you to migrate to the latest technology over time, using a phased approach, with minimal downtime. A Modernization Service Agreement helps minimize the risk of operating aging automation assets and enables you to upgrade to the latest technology on a predetermined time schedule. The agreement includes support, modernization and program management for a fixed fee.

PLC-5 Packaged Migration
A new meaning to migration - easy, fast, affordable

Rockwell Automation can help you cost-effectively migrate to the latest ControlLogix technology. Your migration requirements are systematically prioritized by migrating only one PLC-5 rack and up to four remote I/O racks, leaving any connected devices and slave controllers in place. By migrating the core controller and chassis, you lay the foundation for future modernization. The PLC-5 packaged migration is ideal for discrete, straightforward applications communicating to devices and remote I/O racks on existing networks such as DH+ and remote I/O.

A whole new meaning to migration – Easy, Fast, Affordable.

Conformal Coating
Protecting Your Automation Investment

What is Conformal Coating? Conformal coating is the process of spraying a non-conducting substance, an insulator, onto a device or component to help protect it from moisture, fungus, dust, corrosion, abrasion and other environmental stresses. It is a thin film that "conforms" to the varied profiles of an assembly. Why Use Conformal Coated Products? Conformal coating offers protection of circuitry from moisture, fungus, dust and corrosion caused by highly-polluted atmospheres. It also offers improved product life cycle when exposure to corrosive environment is present. It helps maintain long-term surface insulation resistance, ensuring operational integrity of the assembly.

Smart Motor Control

Across multiple applications, the electric motor keeps industry running, from motion systems, ventilators and conveyors to pumps and compressors. Central as they are to manufacturing and industrial performance, the impact of motor failure can be significant, costing thousands or even hundreds of thousands per hour of lost production. The most expensive motor isn't necessarily the most critical: a failure on a small, single mixer motor can be enough to cause a major disruption to plant productivity.
